Does First Kansas Life Insurance Association still exist?
I have just found an old life insurance policy on my dad's life (he died about 10 years ago) issued by the Ancient Order of United Workmen of Kansas, with my mom (also deceased) as beneficiary. I have learned that First Kansas Life is probably the successor company, but can't get any info on the firm (yet). It's "only" a $1000 policy, but I would like to see if it's still in effect and my sister and I might be able to collect the benefit. First, I have to find the company.
